I’ve spend alot of time debating what engine/trans combo I should go with on the car. For my short lived life as a car hobbyist I’ve worked on GM LSx motors. I’ve played with Fords modular motors, mainly from friends who’ve had mustangs, cobras, and such. Don’t get wrong it’s not a bad motor just not my cup of tea. I’ve always like the LSx motor for its simplicity and bag for the buck at making decent power. So I’ve chosen to stick with an LS1/T56 combo.

Now I know the Ford religious fanatics will flog me with wet noodles for even saying that so I’m sorry ahead of time. I mean hell if you think about it the original AC cars were a mixed breed anyhow. And lets not forget that Carrol Shelby went to Chevy and asked them first. It’s not my fault they were too dumb to let it infringe on the Corvette.. :)
